Goura Purnima
On Friday March 21, 2008 the Murari Sevaka Farm devotees honored the appearance of Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu with a beautiful fire sacrifice immediately following Mangal Arotik.  The yajna was performed very expertly by our Brahmana Rama Vigrahas Das.  As you can see in the photos, the yajna was very blessed.  At moonrise the devotees broke their fast with a prasadam feast.

On Saturday March 22, 2008 there was a festival in honor of the appearance day of Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu.  About 100 area devotees came to help celebrate.  This occasion was marked by an Abhishek of the large deity of Sri Krsna Caitanya.  This historical event was the second annual Abhishek in which all devotees were able to receive great mercy by being able to participate in bathing the Lord.   There were joyful kirtans, bhajans, a talk by Balavanta Das, and a sumptuous feast of prasadam.

The Murari Sevaks would like to thank on behalf of Sri Sri Nitai Gaurachandra all the sponsors of the festival and the sponsors of the Golden Kalash's:  Yoga Rupini Devi Dasi, Gayatri Das, Balavanta Das, Bhabendra Putatunda, Kirtida Devi Dasi, Girish & Suman Garg, Jai Ram Dasa, Manish & Megha Dixit, Abhay Narain & Poonam Agarwal, Christie Vogel, Ram Charan, Thanu & Meena Pillai, Vijay Vishnu Das & Lalita Devi Dasi, Mother Matsya & Nitai Gaura Sundura, Venkatesh & Lalitha Yekkirala, Gokula Ranjana & Colleen Hynes, Jack & Rita Patel, Chandrasekhar & Pranahitha Reddy, Ratnakar , Sumitha, & Ashwani Pakala, Shambhubhai Patel, and Kiran & Darshanna Desai.
